ZIMBABWEAN prophet Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi has caused a stir on social media with his claim that he foresaw the deaths of DJ Tira and DJ Maphorisa.

Mukanhairi gained attention previously for prophesying the deaths of AKA, Zahara, Busi Lurayi and several other celebrities.

In his latest prophecy, he wrote that both DJ Tira and DJ Maphorisa would die in car accidents.

Last month, the prophet predicted Shebeshxt’s accident. The controversial Limpopo rap sensation, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, lost his 9-year-old daughter in a car accident in Polokwane in June. He survived but spent weeks in hospital.

“Two artists who are in the track of accidents are DJ Maphorisa and DJ Tira. These people can avoid this by seeking answers from God and protection from Him without even talking to me. We pray for them,” wrote Mukanhairi.

“For example, if I see this imminent impending disaster on DJ Tira and he seeks God he will live, this will be the most tragic ending,” he added.

The prophecy has triggered a surge of reactions on social media. Many individuals have appealed to the prophet, urging him to pray for the well-being of the two celebrities.

Unshaken by the prophecy, DJ Tira took to social media to say he believed and trusted God and his daily prayers. The record producer and businessman also thanked his followers for always keeping him in their prayers.

“I pray and I will continue praying as I always have. There is one God, and I trust in him, so I won’t panic and live my life in fear. Thank you for always putting me in your prayers. I don’t take the blessing from God for granted.

“I’m serving a living God. 25 years later I’m still in the music industry touring international venues,” he wrote.

“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,” he said.
