THE MOTHIBISTAD police apprehended two male suspects in connection with a burglary at a local primary school on July 12. The arrests followed a tip-off regarding the theft.

A spokesperson for the Northern Cape police, Sergeant Molefi Shemane, said that the suspects, aged 23 and 24, were found in possession of 12 Samsung tablets believed to have been stolen from the school.

The swift police action led to the recovery of the stolen property and the detention of the individuals involved. The suspects are slated to appear in court soon to face charges related to the burglary and possession of stolen goods.

Shemane urged the public to participate in the “Rate Our Service” online survey, which aims to enhance police services through community feedback. Additionally, community members are encouraged to report any information on stolen goods or suspicious activities to assist in crime prevention efforts.
